Humans don’t understand their own conscience about what conscience is. Humans are connected to something ethereal, the inspiration of their creations is not just external influences but also stems from their awareness that was before they were born, their awareness that is and their awareness after they die, the two questions that haven’t been answered til date.
- Where does human awareness come from before birth?
- Where does human awareness go after death?
These are the questions that have puzzled humanity since the beginning of human history, across philosophy, theology, spirituality and even as of today science struggles to address consciousness definitively.
Spirituality and philosophy posit that consciousness exists beyond the physical body.
Science however has not reached a universal agreement on the nature of consciousness let alone its origins.
If consciousness originates from an ethereal realm then this implies human creativity might draw from pre-existing awareness. This train of thought explains those moments of inspiration which feel like they came from nowhere. If human creativity is partly/fully fueled by an ethereal connection this gives human creativity a transcendent quality that AI (purely material system) cannot replicate.
Science has little to say about consciousness after death, as its beyond the scope of empirical/quantifiable study. Near death experiences have been studied however their findings are controversial and are often attributed to brain activity during oxygen deprivation.
The idea that artists draw from a pre-existing awareness could explain why some creations feel timeless or resonating across generations. There is a gap between what we can observe (brain activity) and what we experience (subjective awareness).
AI can analyze patterns, generate ideas, and even simulate emotional depth in its outputs but it cannot connect to this “pre-existing awareness”.
That said I still think AI has a role to play there is a reason humans have had to crack AI at exactly this point in time. While it cant connect to his “otherworldly” awareness it could help an artist brainstorm concepts for a new project or could generate a rough sketch of an artist’s art and the artists gets to refine it with their own spiritual and emotional depth.
This is why I keep saying humans create from nothing, AI was created from nothing. A thousand years ago the only form of infographic you would see was on rocks and now you have phones, computers, the internet, do you understand how insane that is, if we were born thousands of years ago during the rock/stone info-graphics and we somehow got to trasnfered to this present moment, we wouldn’t even have the words to describe exactly what we are seeing… our brains wouldn’t even be able to process that, however look at how through the collective creative efforts of humans across dimensions and aspects we are currently living in this present moment that we cant even fathom what life was like thousands of years ago. Also things will change more in the next 2 years than they have in the last 20+ years .
